Analysing Cyber-resiliency of a Marine Navigation System using Behavioural Relations
This paper presents a method for ensuring maritime navigation safety by using behavior analysis and structural analysis of information flow to detect and isolate incorrect navigation data, potentially caused by cyber-attacks or instrument malfunctions, in marine vessels, emphasizing the importance of adhering to International Maritime Organization standards and the potential integration of computer vision to enhance navigation resilience, especially in coastal waters.

GNSS Independent Position Fixing using Multiple Navigational Features Registration
The paper discusses the increasing unreliability of navigation satellite systems due to jamming or spoofing techniques, and proposes a computerized framework for estimating a vessel’s position and heading using traditional methods such as radar and sea chart information, including the observed location of beacons, landmarks, coastlines, and buoys, demonstrating convincing accuracy in both position and heading estimation.
